Revenue, expense, cash-flow and score figures from ScoUT are estimates based on stated assumptions and the data available to us. They are not guarantees of future results. Actual performance will differ.

Not legal, tax or financial advice

Our short-term rental rules pages and reports summarize our reading of city and county code on the date shown. They are not legal advice. Rules change, and HOA covenants (CC&Rs) can be stricter than city code. Before you buy, confirm with the city or county, the HOA, your attorney, your lender and your tax advisor.

Corrections

We correct errors in our rules pages and dataset promptly. Send the page, the claim and your source to hello@scoutut.com. A person re-checks the primary source, and every correction is logged publicly on the public changelog. Full policy: methodology.

Data license

The ScoUT Utah STR Rules Index (published once our rules pages go live) is licensed under CC BY 4.0. Attribute it as “Source: ScoUT Utah STR Rules Index, scoutut.com”. The license covers our compiled data, not the underlying public code.

This site does not currently use analytics or third-party tracking scripts, Our intake form stores what you submit (and, only if you tick the separate box, your SMS consent with its time and exact wording) so a licensed agent can reply.
